One little monkey jumping on the bed

Well... it didn't exactly happen like that. Unfortunately, Breeley took her first major spill yesterday. She likes to sit on the bed and watch me get ready, which she normally does with many "unnecessary" pillows piled all around her. (I say unnecessary because she really doesn't move all that much yet.) I was pretty much dressed and ready and started playing with her a bit, then turned to pick out some earrings and heard a thud. Talk about heart pounding!! She was face down and looked liked she'd landed mostly on her hands and knees, thank goodness, and all I could think as I picked her up was, "Please don't be any blood." Brian had gone on an errand and I think I'll pass out the first time I see her bleeding! Luckily, I checked her all over--and have several times since then--and there was no major damage. After many hugs, kisses, and her favorite thing, she was laughing and smiling like normal.

I was a little worried to tell Brian (the whole Daddy's Little Girl thing), and he probably would have gotten a lot more upset had we not had company when he got home. :) But, luckily both of us realize that accidents will happen despite our best intentions and efforts to protect her from anything and everything. We're just extremely thankful that all this one did was scare her (and me!) and remind us that it doesn't take jumping to fall off the bed!
